Evaluation and consultancy forms a substantial part of Creative Arts Promotion activity. Recent projects include:

Creation of Red Hot Fiesta – a community arts carnival celebration for Hull 700 involving over 70 Hull voluntary organisations (2001 and 2002)

Development of a Literature Strategy for City of York Council

Creation of an arts audit for Scarborough Borough Council (CREATE)

Creation of A Jazz Development strategy for North East Lincolnshire Council

Research into Rural Touring provision in Yorkshire for the Arts Council England (2003)
External evaluation and research work includes:
- Year of the Artist Residency and Research and Development programmes (on behalf of Yorkshire Arts) (2001)
- Evaluation of York Museum Trust's Learning Programme for MLA
- Sight Sonic Digital Arts Festival (2000 to date)
- York City Art Gallery Territories project (on behalf of York Museums Trust) (2000 to date)
- Audience development research for Late Music
- Humber Youth Music Action Zone (on behalf of East Riding, Hull, North and North East Lincolnshire Councils and Youth Music) (2001 - 2005)
- North Yorkshire Youth Music Action Zone (on behalf of North Yorkshire County Council and Youth Music) (2003)
- Working with the University of Hull to expand an outreach programme of arts activity from their Scarborough campus
- Regional Arts Lottery Programme and Grants for the Arts applications on behalf of the following organisations: City of York Libraries, City of York Art Gallery, North East Lincolnshire Council, National Rural Touring Forum, J-Night have all been successful
We are founder member of the steering group for the newly formed Arts Council Yorkshire Jazz Agency and the Yorkshire World Music Network.
